One of my favorite things about being a newborn photographer is meeting the family before the baby is born during their maternity session.  A few weeks ago I met this family of four (one was just hiding 😉 ) for their maternity session. SUCH an adorable family. I had a special soft spot for their daughter because she is so darned cute (and her personality reminded me of my own 2 year old). She is just beautiful. THEN the great fun of meeting their newborn daughter as well. All gorgeous 8lbs 8oz of her! Such a relaxed family and so easy to hang out with during their session. 🙂 Thanks for peeking!

Seriously, this was the smiliest baby boy I’ve ever photographed. He slept wonderfully and was soooo relaxed. Mom and Dad actually wanted their newborn session pictures to be a surprise so they helped when their baby or I needed help and otherwise vacuumed the downstairs (I utilized the light in the baby’s bedroom upstairs), watched TV and ate breakfast. lol I think I worked a little more efficiently cause I didn’t yap the whole time. LOL!!

How beautiful is she? Such a beautifully created little baby girl. She was so wonderful for her session. Her big sister even drew me a map so I would know how to get home. Bummer was . . . I forgot it! Her mom said she was a little concerned that I wouldn’t know how to get home since I forgot her map. Doh! lol Sorry! Congratulations on two wonderful little girls! Such treasures 🙂
