I’ve been around a lot of newborns, but never ever have I seen a newborn actually look me in the eyes (and I’ve had 4 babies of my own) and smile over and over like this. I definitely have never believed that babies smile due to ‘gas’. Baby Norah was only a week old too. After I caught the last image I brought her to her mom (the session was all finished) and told her about the smiles. Mom said she smiles at her too! 🙂 It was such a beautiful morning for the newborn session. Their tree swing in the backyard was great. This family was so sweet and kind. I will always remember baby Norah’s huge smile 🙂
