Important news . . . thank you to everyone who has scheduled their fall sessions! I’m very excited! For the families who have emailed and asked about fall sessions, this is the time to schedule in order to beat the chilly air that will be here before we know it. There are also printing deadlines for getting orders in before christmas, so its better to reserve a date early to be sure we have everything finalized in time. Call me and we’ll get everything set! 🙂
This family’s session was in the 50’s and windy! Sometimes the weather just isn’t optimal, but we made it. At one point we went into a narrow path with trees surrounding it to take cover from the wind and give the kids a break (snack, warm blankets, etc), but eventually the sun peeked out for a little longer. That’s always the challenge being an on-location outdoor photographer – you need to know how to shoot in different light conditions – cloudy, sunny, overcast, shady.. and how to take breaks to keep the kids happy! 🙂
This session was a lot of fun and I was able to use my new antique chair. I picked up a couple other props for some sessions I have in mind too. 🙂 I have a feeling the antique store owners will know me by name as time goes on…
The weather this weekend sure felt like winter is coming quickly. I’m savoring these last times for outdoor sessions before we’re inside for the winter (although weather permitting, I’d still enjoy heading outside for some snow sessions – think toboggan, snowmen and hot chocolate family session!).
Hope you enjoy them, Verbon family!
and a quick landscape on the way out 🙂
Have a great day!
