I know this is a lot of images to share, but this was such a fun afternoon this weekend taking our children bowling for the first time ever. Thank you to my husband, Jason, for being such a great daddy and teaching all three of them and cheering them on! This style of photography is more ‘candid’ or ‘lifestyle’ photography. I enjoy this style since it shows real emotion and connection between families more so than sitting and fake-smiling for a camera.
Waiting for the ball to get to the pins (which with a 4 year old’s strength allows time to go back for a sip of soda before it hits the pins, ha!)
Love this!
Nicholas showing the number of pins he hit (seriously). lol
Our 22 month old kicking the bowling ball instead of rolling – ouch!
Maybe rolling works better….
one unhappy bowler. lol
I LOVE this next sequence of Celia and Jason!
As we neared the end of the game our 4 year olds wanted to do it all by themselves. Nicholas is waiting for his lane to be ready here and his subsequent turn.
This was such a great afternoon! Make sure you all take time from work to cherish this time with your family! It is PRICELESS 🙂
Jessica Deane - These are priceless! seriously! 🙂
Dad - Those are really great pictures. The kids appear to love bowling!
Hailey - I love these personal posts about your family. Bowling has always been a really fun thing for me as a kid (and even today.) Your family is adorable. Thanks for sharing!
suzyb - oh those are just sooo precious! beautiful moments and images 🙂 thanks for sharing!
Sue Maus - Super photos! The “series” with Celia is great. The last one with Nicholas makes it look like he bowled left handed — you can’t tell the ball actually was a large right handed shot put! It was a wonderful afternoon.
Joanna - These are so fun – I love it Jill! And wow, Celia’s got some long legs!
Sylvia - so cute Jill! Thanks for sharing.
